Remember me?

3 min read
Wow deviantART on mobile is absolutely terrible. It doesn't help things are all different and unfamiliar to me here now. I still can't figure out how to update my bio and such.

Hello! I recently decided to return to older platforms that I haven't used in a long while. I'm attempting to have a bit more privacy while at the same time still being able to share things. If that makes any sense at all. So, updates.

I am now 32 years old. I am a substitute teacher. I'm recently divorced, currently living with my family. (Something I'm not entirely thrilled over, but not much I can do about it currently.) I no longer attend cons or take part in cosplay. I left the steampunk community last year. I still draw, and my skills have highly improved. I'm still deciding on whether or not I want to post drawings here. If I do they will have watermarks, which I know can be a visual nuisance but have to do what I can to protect things. I've pretty much given up on trying to get into paid modeling gigs and just take photos when I feel like.

I kind of want to clear out a bunch of things from my gallery, but at the same time I don't want to because I would lose a lot, and since deleting my FB account last year I permanently lost a lot of old con and festival photos. So, we'll see.

I also want to change my username here as it doesn't really apply to me anymore. Still deciding on what, and I also have to have Core membership to do so (which is a bit silly, but whatever dA).

I am still very much into style that reflects my love of fantasy, but as of late my love of 60s and 70s music and fashion has been rekindled. I'm a 90s kid, and back then the trend of "90s does 60s and 70s" was in, and I also grew up listening to music that my mom loves.

Last November I came out as Pagan. I do not practice witchcraft. I simply enjoy following and celebrating the seasons and finding little moments of a kind of "magic" through that. It makes me happy.

Two years ago I came out as bisexual, and I'm so glad I did.

I am active in keeping as up to date as I can with the BLM movement, and I encourage others to do the same and stay on top of who is in your local and state governments.

I suppose that's all for now. Stay safe and sensible. ♡
