I wouldn't say I'm tan enough (I could play around with makeup), and I'm also just nervous about cosplaying an anime character in general. Facial feature differences and such. I'm also having trouble finding photos of her where you can see her boots. I've seen the film 3 times, but I unfortunately don't own it (yet).
If anyone could give me any feedback or link me to some good photos I'd really appreciate it.

And if you're worried about being too pale, I'd suggest investing
in a light spray tan before your event. Because playing around with bronzer
usually looks too phony, ya know? But I think you could pull it off.
See, a spray tan isn't something I want to do. I'm always afraid it'll just look orange-y, and they cost money. And as soon as I was out of the cosplay I'd want the tan to be gone as well, lol. I figured I could use some bronzer and eyemakeup to give me a little glow. Just so my face isn't one color.
