Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I'm working on writing the last paper (for school) of my entire life. And it feels really good. It's going pretty well since it's for my horror film class. I'm writing about Japanese horror and using Onibaba and Ju On as examples for my topic. I'm going to have to dance or something when it's completed.

Graduation on May 14th!! Can't wait! I'm still in need of 4 or 5 more tickets for my family. Hopefully I can get my hands on some. My Yia Yia and Papou are coming, so it's making things a little difficult for my immediate family. My mom even suggested that she would stay home so they can go to the ceremony if needbe. I don't want to her to do that. My graduation party is probably going to take place sometime after graduation. Not sure what day yet. I requested red velvet cake. Yummy...

I'd also like to take some more cosplay photos in the future, probably of my Joker outfit since I haven't worn it in a while and I don't have many pictures of it (the new version anyway).

I also received a text last night from

asking for my postal address. The first thing that came to mind was baby shower! :]
(Note: My friend is pregnant. I'm not, lol. I actually don't want to have children.)

And....I really want to see the new version of Jane Eyre. It's one of my favorite books. I've heard there's actually some kind of supernatural twist in the movie, and I want to know what it is. I'm also hoping a film version of Jane Slayre happens at some point. It's so film worthy!
