On one of my Daria photos (yet again)

"jane should be taller"

-_-

I know that. My friend just happens to be a little shorter than I am. Deal with it.

*sigh* you know, at the end of the day I can't comprehend the reason a person feels the need to expound on such a continual rant of criticism wherever they deem fit (or wherever they can get their kicks) and I end up saying the same thing (also in regards to when people don't like certain music/movies in that same narrow minded critical manner); "Alright...if you don't like it then YOU do a better job" Go ahead, go out there and just do a better job. Some people...

Daria isn't a animes.

Just wait till you get that troll. I'm surprised you haven't yet.

If I ever do I'll be very surprised since I'm not claiming Daria is anime, lol.

Oh they can suck eggs. I'm 5 feet tall, and I cosplay mostly male characters. I've gotten so many rude comments on my height and my weight (I'm a little chunky but not fat). It's just ridiculous. Sorry, I'm not going to starve myself and risk my health so I can be as skinny as L. (I've had someone tell me I was too fat for L.) I'm not going to not cosplay a character I love because I'm not their height. (If that were the case I couldn't cosplay very many characters.)

Shit, I cosplay Trent and the boots I wear for him put me at 5'1 MAYBE. Now yes, it'd be nice if I were a little taller, and it will look funny if I ever take pics with you guys in our costumes, but you know what? WHO CARES? We're good cosplayers, we put effort into our costumes, and IT'S JUST FOR FUN. Some people take cosplay way too seriously.

Exactly. I totally agree. :)

And it will be amazing when we get photos together. Oh yes. :D

Are you on cosplay.com? There is a whole thread in the forum area on there about rude comments and we were recently talking about height. lol
I get comments about my race and height all the time. Its really annoying.

No, I'm not a member on that site. I'm trying to keep my networking sites to a minimum, lol. But yeah, it's silly how people can be jerks like that. It's like, "Did you even glance at my cosplay?" Especially when it's a well done cosplay.

Yea, I know. Ugh... I hate people like that!
Why don't you like networking? I like it, then people recognize/know me at cons and I meet new friends that way

I do like networking. I just don't like having to keep track of so many sites. I'm weird like that, lol. I've been doing well enough with my deviantART, and now that I have a FB cosplay page it'll help even more. :]
